Founder/ Therapist
Chieon Kim, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder of Chamomile Counseling in New Jersey. She provides warm, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed therapy in both English and Korean, helping individuals navigate anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
Chieon specializes in working with Asian Americans, immigrants, and high achievers who often struggle with people-pleasing, self-criticism, and the pressure to meet others' expectations. Drawing from CBT, EMDR, Inner Child Work, and other evidence-based approaches, she helps clients heal from past experiences, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
Since 2013, Chieon has worked with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, domestic violence, sexual trauma, panic attacks, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. Her goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can move beyond survival, rediscover who they are, and build a life that feels meaningful and true to themselves.
